Pennseythen Gernewek (Cornish Language weekend ) is an annual gathering for Cornish speakers to learn and socialise together. Speakers of any ability, including complete beginners, are very welcome. Organised by the charity Kowethas an Yeth Kernewek (Cornish Language Fellowship) this year’s event will take place in St Austell. Lessons will be based at Cornwall College’s St Austell Campus while on Saturday we will be heading to St Austell Brewery’s visitor centre for food, music and entertainment. Whether you are a regular to Pennseythen Gernewek or have never attended before, we’d love to see you there.
