Cornish pirates and mermaids with Alasdair Hoswell – summer at KK!

Get ready for a captivating story session as Alasdair Hoswell shares tales of Cornish pirates and mermaids, inspired by legends from long ago.

Join us on Tuesday 20 August, 10am-12pm, to act out and use your imagination and join in with the storytelling fun!

Plus, dive into some exciting activities designed to immerse you in Cornish culture! From engaging Cornish language activities to creating artwork inspired by the legends of Cornish pirates and mermaids – there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Don’t miss out on this celebration of Cornish culture! Join us for storytelling, language exploration, creativity, and play!

Details

Kresen Kernow is fully wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with lifts to all levels and automatic main entrance doors. Accessible toilets are available on both floors, with a fully-equipped Changing Places toilet also available on the ground floor. Separate baby changing facilities are also available on the ground floor. If you are arriving by vehicle, there are six accessible parking spaces at the Tesco side of the building and a level entrance into the building. If you are arriving on foot or wheels, from Redruth town centre, the closest entrance is at the end of the public path which runs through the old brewery site, from Chapel Street to Kresen Kernow.
