About this event
Cornish Roots is a 20-piece Big Band made up of local musicians who love to play big band music.
Having started out in bands such as Helston School Jazz Orchestra and the Cornwall Youth Jazz Orchestra, they share the same passion for music.
Their aim is to help local charities and provide a top-quality band for gigs and functions, playing in any style from Themed Movie Nights and 60s Swing Eveningsto Strictly Come Dancing style parties.
Their repertoire includes popular pieces such as Michael Buble’s Everything, James Bond’s Live and Let Die, Grease megamix Glen Miller’s In The Mood, as well as Big Band Classics from the like of Buddy Rich, Bob Mintzer and Maynard Ferguson.
Doors Open & Licensed Bar from 7.00pm . Show starts at 7.30pm
