About this event
We are excited to be hosting in the beautiful seaside town of Newquay, at The Griffin Inn. For single, permanent residents in Cornwall (you don’t have to be Cornish).
How it works;
Ticket holders to arrive between 6pm and 6.45pm. Greeted by the host. Feel free to grab yourself a refreshing drink from the bar and chat to fellow daters. First bell rings by 7pm to signal the start of dating.
For the speed dating segment – ladies stay seated, as the gentlemen rotate tables – when the bell rings! As you meet each person, fill in your scorecard and indicate whether you’d like to see them again.
You get five minutes per date. Plus there is mingling opportunities throughout, with intervals inbetween for toilet breaks and a drink top up.
Completed scorecards are to be handed back to the host when the speed dating segment has ended. You are welcome to stay and continue enjoying the bar until closing time. We will email you the following day, with your match results, and the phone numbers of those you have been matched with. Who makes the next move, is up to you….
