Cornish Christmas story boxes at Kresen Kernow

We keep lots of stories in boxes in our archive and wondered…what’s your favourite Christmas story?

Be inspired by Cornish Christmas books in our library and decorate a mini story box with old Christmas cards, maps and copies of other items from our collections!

Join us on Thursday 21 December 10am-12pm, and write your own story that magically folds out of the mini box you’ve just decorated!

Take the box home and hang it on your tree or make it the perfect gift for someone!

This activity is free and drop-in, no need to book.

We’re also running this fun, drop-in workshop on Saturday 9 and 16 December.

Accessibility

Details

Kresen Kernow is fully wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with lifts to all levels and automatic main entrance doors. Accessible toilets are available on both floors, with a fully-equipped Changing Places toilet also available on the ground floor. Separate baby changing facilities are also available on the ground floor. If you are arriving by vehicle, there are six accessible parking spaces at the Tesco side of the building and a level entrance into the building. If you are arriving on foot or wheels, from Redruth town centre, the closest entrance is at the end of the public path which runs through the old brewery site, from Chapel Street to Kresen Kernow.
