The Edgcumbe family used Cotehele as their summer retreat, now it’s your turn. Head to Cotehele this summer for a summer jam-packed with play.

Booking not needed. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

Find pockets of play as you explore the garden and orchards at Cotehele.

Whether you want to put on a show at the Mother Orchard Theatre, paint a portrait or get active on your hobbyhorse, play like a Georgian family in Cotehele’s gardens and orchards.

Embrace the outdoors while seeking shade under beautiful apple trees and frolic down paths of cut meadowgrass.
You can also picnic across the Cotehele estate, just be sure not to leave a trace behind.
