Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May 2023, 11am to 4:30pm
Celebrate National Mills Weekend 2023 by discovering the fascinating history of one of the Morden Valley’s last remaining heritage mills.
Head to the quiet and secluded Morden Valley and wander down the bunting lined ‘street’ at Cotehele Mill.
Visit on Saturday or Sunday to enjoy picnics on the meadow, learn the fascinating story of the Langsfords who ran Cotehele Mill for decades and chat to one of our passionate and knowledgeable millers.
Visit on Sunday to also try samples of freshly baked treats made right here in the bakery at Cotehele Mill.
We also have free children’s activities, including the Mill Family Quiz and Nature Detectives challenges on the meadow.
Please note, the weir is under repair and as a result the mill itself is not currently operational.
No parking is available at Cotehele Mill. Please use the car park at Cotehele Quay, a 15-minute walk from the mill.
Much of the Mill is outdoors. Please dress for all weathers!
There are steps into some of the buildings at Cotehele Mill. Dogs are not allowed inside the buildings.
