About this event
Discover the orchards at Cotehele brimming with blossom, games, nature discoveries, picnics and more.
Booking not needed. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
Friday 28 to Sunday 30 April 2023, 10am – 5pm
From April, use the new photography stations to track the progress of our blossom as it spreads from the cherry orchard to the old and mother orchards. Share your photos with us #CoteheleBlossom.
Stretch out with Pilates, relax with a blossom picnic, try your hand at our lawn games and get crafty with blossom origami to help fill our bookshop tree with blossom. Visit on Saturday 29th April to take part in a Blossom Blitz, a partnership with the University of Plymouth. Find out what wildlife makes the mother orchard its home.
Finally, pick up the Tamar Valley blossom trail and discover a plethora of blossom sites and events in Plymouth and the Tamar Valley.
Families welcome
Most of the festivities take place in the Old Orchard and Mother Orchard.
Wear sensible footwear and be prepared for all weathers.
The route to the orchards is step free, but with uneven and unpaved paths. Please visit the website for a detailed accessibility statement.
