Craft Beer Tasting

An evening of tasting Cornish craft beers whilst fundraising for Children's Hospice SW.

Begin with a welcome pint to settle in to the evening before tasting five different craft beers and ales from some of the best breweries in Cornwall: pale ales through to dark beers and everything in between! Expect small batch, limited run brews which you may not have tried before.

All beers will be introduced with some of the craft brewers on hand to give inside knowledge of their expert brewing practices. A small selection of snacks are also included in the ticket price. Finish with a cocktail pasty and a chance to purchase further drinks.

The evening will also see an exclusive beer launch from one of Cornwall’s finest breweries showcasing their first new bottled beer in over five years – so you’ll be one of the first to taste it!
There will be a raffle at the end of the night where you can win various drinks, merchandise and experiences – so please bring cash with you.

The event will be raising money for Children’s Hospice South West in memory of our daughter Maisie who lost her life to Mitochondrial Disease. All profits will be going directly to the Children’s Hospice South West as part of London Marathon fundraising efforts.

Non-alcoholic tickets are also available on the door for £10 per person to include unlimited soft drinks, nibbles and pasty.

The Alverton’s paid bar will also be open within the Great Hall for the purchase of other drinks.
