About this event

Craig draws photorealistic portraits in pencil. He will be working on some pieces at his desk in Carbon Gallery.

Craig has a small desk in a small shop in Penryn. He uses paper, pencils, erasers, and countless hours to produce photorealistic pencil portraits.

The primary aim is a photographic likeness, but a sense of artistry and character is also important. They’re easily lost in photorealism.

With little interest celebrity culture, Craig prefers to draw normal people. For Open Studios he’ll be working on a more recognisable face.
