About this event
Groundswell presents: DRACULA THE VAMPYR! as part of the Cream of Cornish Weekender at BeNewquay Festival…
Beware. He is unearthed. He is coming. Keep your windows locked and gather the garlic! Devised and written in his inimitable and irreverent style, Kneehigh veteran David Mynne brings a bold and bloody one-man performance with plenty of bite… don’t miss Dracula: the Vampyr! Expect bats and more bats; garlic and gore; lunatics and lady vampires… they’re all here in this adaptation of the most well-known of all gothic horrors. Be warned: this monstrous, disturbing and completely batty tale of dark deeds and the undead will thrill and seduce you… It’s deliciously dark! Horribly hair-raising! Spectacularly silly!
