Groundswell presents: the MICRO MOVIES MATINEE as part of the Cream of Cornish Weekender at BeNewquay Festival…
Curated by Mor Media and part of November’s month-long Cornwall Film Festival, the Micro Movies Matinee brings you a delectable elevenses kick-back of some of the finest, innovative and adventurous Cornish short films to emerge over the last five years. Demonstrating the distinctive storytelling, stylistic boldness, strength of form and ambition that the burgeoning Cornish filmmaking scene boasts, the curation will also include a selection of Cornish language shorts recently featured on the BBC. A perfect post-brunch finish to the Cream of Cornish Weekender!

This event is presented by Groundswell as part of the Cream of Cornish Weekender, which takes place during the first weekend of the Be Newquay Festival. The Cream of Cornish Weekender showcases Cornwall’s finest home-grown talent with a series of captivating live performances. Find out what else is on the programme here.
