About this event

Falmouth Art Gallery is recruiting for this years SPLANNA! A FREE art & wellbeing youth group.

Splanna [Cornish: Shine]

A collaborative youth project exploring themes of climate, art and activism. We will deliver a 10 month programme of talks, outdoor trips and creative workshops to tackle eco anxiety, learn new skills and help you take agency in facing the earth crisis.

The programme is open to young people in school years 7-9 and will run from September – July Participants can sign up to start at the beginning of the programme, and will be expected to commit, to the best of their ability, to the full 10 month project.

We will meet every Thursday evening at the gallery 5-7:30pm (term time only) We will provide food and can also help with travel. If you would like to join but have a barrier that we can help with, please get in touch: [email protected]

You can expect to meet new people, take part in artist led workshops and have a space to share your thoughts and ideas.
