About this event
Crispian Steele-Perkins was formerly a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and rose to fame as a virtuoso Baroque Trumpeter. His speciality has been music of the 17th and 18th centuries and his personal collection of instruments chart the history of the trumpet. He brings them to Mousehole and his talk (and playing) is sure to inspire and inform and be very entertaining
Over the years Crispian has featured on the soundtracks of many films, including Jaws, Lord of the Rings and Batman and recorded for television the music for Dr Who, Inspector Morse and the Antiques Roadshow. He’s also recorded alongside world-class opera singers including Bryn Terfel, Kiri te Kanawa and Cliff Richards.
Doors Open at 6pm and the Bar will be open serving drinks and snacks. Ticket price includes a £1 donation to the Solomon Browne Hall. Tickets from: solomonbrownehall.co.uk/events
