About this event

Discover the joy of salsa dancing with James, our experienced instructor with 15 years of teaching Cuban Salsa.

This five-session, fortnightly course offers the perfect introduction to the rhythms and movements of this vibrant art form in a fun, social and supportive environment. From dancing in hold to transitioning to the open position (“Casino”), you’ll learn inside and outside turns as a lead or a follow.

Our classes are conducted in “La Rueda,” (The Wheel) creating a friendly and inclusive environment for everyone to learn and make new friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and low-pressure, with plenty of breaks for you to enjoy the learning process. Cap off each session by practicing to music in a social setting, reinforcing what you’ve learned.

By the end of the 5 weeks, you’ll feel confident stepping onto the dance floor!
Suitable for those with no or little previous experience.
