About this event
Join us for the Autumn Lecture Series at National Maritime Museum Cornwall exploring the shadowy side of Cornwall’s rich maritime heritage.
Podcaster Keith Wallis (The Piskie Trap) will be exploring a range of dark tales and traditions from all around the Cornish coast. From stories of smugglers, phantoms and shipwrecks, to fantastical creatures lurking beneath the waves. Keith will be delving into a mix of folk tales from locations around the Cornish coastline, how they’re linked to the darker side of history here in Cornwall, and our local storytelling traditions and customs.
