About this event
Part of the ‘Inspired Starting Points for Your Novel’ workshop series.
Jenny Kane has already published 40 novels across several genres. Her latest, The Fish and Chip Shop Detectives, has taken her into the realms of cosy crime with a murder committed in nearby Mousehole. Jenny will consider which questions need to be asked and answered when setting up your plotlines – and it’s not simply: “Who dunnit?” How do you pick the best way to dispatch your victims and maintain the suspense within your novel to keep your readers turning the pages right to the end? This workshop will include short written exercises so that, on leaving, you will have some ideas to expand into future short stories or novels.
Concessions strictly for: Under 18s, Full-Time Students, those in receipt of working-age benefits or Pension Credit.
