Digital Dance Discovery

An online creative movement/dance program

Digital Dance Discovery is an online engagement program of weekly movement tasks/challenges with an additional video feedback and interaction option with Grace Murdoch. Open to all ages and backgrounds, no previous dance experience needed. The program is engaged with via social media and digital forums and designed to keep our creative juices flowing whilst keeping us moving and active.

Every Saturday a new movement task is posted on social media

The tasks are for anyone and everyone and there is no cost to get involved. There is no obligation but you can then, if you like, book in a 15 minute live video session with me for the following Wednesday. To book a slot email me at [email protected] or message the facebook page or my instagram account before 6pm on the Tuesday. This can be by yourself or in groups with others. The video sessions will be via Zoom. Or alternatively you can email me a video and I will message you feedback. The video sessions can be a creative discussion, mini sharing, feedback/technique check in or just a hello!

You can also share your choreography/improvisations on social media and please tag us @digitaldancediscovery on facebook at @gracemurdochdance on instagram. It is not compulsory to post anything or video chat with me at all, feel free to just have a go at the tasks!

The aim of Digital Dance Discovery is to give anyone who wishes to have a chance to get involved a starting point/inspiration point for us to spring from to keep creative, and keep our dancing going in this time of isolation.
