About this event
Du Glas offer their own brand of original roots music, combining influences from Americana and British folk-rock. Songs of miners, mutiny and murder; starvation, sirens and smugglers, that’s what you get when you leave this bunch of Cornish renegades alone for too long!!
Since 2016 the band have been rocking their way across the south of England including Wimborne Folk Festival and Chickenstock. They haven’t neglected their homeland either, wowing crowds at the Cornwall Folk Festival, the St Ives September Festival, Penlee Park Open Air Theatre and the Acorn Theatre.
Du Glas are now busy writing material for a third album and looking forward to hitting the road again to inflict the rest of the UK with their fierce attitude, thumping rhythms and rousing tunes that will make you lose all your inhibitions, roar till your throats sore and leave you talking like a pirate for the rest of the night.
