About this event
Join us in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE day with our brand new tour at East Pool Mine.
Hear the voices and stories of men stationed here for their conscription service. Explore the social landscape of those living in the area during a time of war and understand the role East Pool Mine played in providing tin for the war effort.
This tour lasts approximately an hour and is a fantastic experience for all, with the use of original film and recordings to bring the story of East Pool Mine in WWII to life.
Come again if you have been before and experience this different focus on East Pool’s history.

There are loose gravel paths, steep steps and uneven ground. Accessible toilet on site. Accessible parking is available by the visitor reception.
