About this event
Join us from 5 – 26 April 2025 for a cracking Easter adventure at Newquay Zoo! Whether you’re hunting for hidden surprises, learning about amazing wildlife, or soaking up the springtime atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.
Easter Egg Trail
Pick up your trail sheet and set off on an egg-citing adventure! Track down hidden eggs, crack the secret word, and claim your prize. Along the way, test your knowledge with fun quiz questions and discover incredible egg-laying animals, from birds to reptiles. Plus, meet some of our cheeky residents—including lemurs, lynx, and warty pigs!
Ranger Talks & Activities
Join our rangers for daily animal talks, fascinating feeds, and egg-themed activities! Learn all about our egg-laying penguins, play Easter games, and get hands-on with fun engagement sessions that bring wildlife to life.
Meet the Easter Hare
Think you know Easter? Think again! Meet the hilarious Easter Hare for a storytelling session revealing the real story behind the Easter Bunny (spoiler: it’s actually an ‘egg-laying’ hare!). Catch him on select dates (10th–21st April) at 1:30pm & 3:30pm on The Pavilion lawn.
Delicious Easter Treats
Café Lemur is serving up hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches, and a special homemade Scotch egg for Easter! Tippy’s Takeaway has grab-and-go options, and Ices is stocked with dreamy ice cream. Bringing your own picnic? Enjoy it in our outdoor seating areas!
Celebrate Native Wildlife
Visit our Bird Hide for self-guided activities like puzzles and colouring, inspired by Cornwall’s springtime wildlife. A peaceful spot to unwind while watching our vasa parrots swoop overhead!
All Easter activities are included with your ticket. Why not become a member for unlimited visits all year round?
Accessibility
Details
We work hard to make Newquay Zoo as accessible as possible, as we want all of our guests to have a great experience with us. We are a leading family visitor attraction in Cornwall and committed to ‘Access for All’. We are considered reasonably wheelchair and pushchair friendly, with the majority of routes accessible for all. Some routes have a slightly steep incline or rough path surface, therefore not all paths are easy to manage in a manual wheelchair.
