About this event
There will be an Easter trail all around the gardens, woodland and river meadows with a free easter egg at the end, face painting, Easter colouring activities, Easter craft making, and for the grown-ups a lovely homemade cream tea after all that running around!
Extras available to buy on the day (card only) include face painting for £3.50 with bookable time slots.
The children’s trail ticket includes:
Trail activity sheet with clues to follow and word puzzle to complete.
A FREE Cadbury’s or Nestle 100g Easter egg.
FREE unlimited adult entry.
FREE Easter themed colouring station.
FREE Easter themed craft.
Access to all the grounds and gardens for the session.
The adults cream tea ticket includes:
A delicious homemade cream tea with 2 scones, English Strawberry Preserve, Rodda’s finest clotted cream and a big mug of tea or coffee made to your liking.
We will be hosting two sessions – a morning one from 11am until 1:30pm, and an afternoon one from 2:30pm until 4pm.
The morning trail starts at 11am and you are welcome to arrive anytime from then onwards. The afternoon trail starts at 2:30pm. On arrival you will be checked in and the children given their activity sheet to fill in as they follow the clues along the trail. Once they’ve finished they will receive their free Easter egg and can then enjoy an Easter craft make and some colouring activities whilst you enjoy your cream tea. Please note: card payments only for the extras.
Accessibility
Details
We offer drop off points for disabled guests, disabled parking bays, and all main areas of the grounds are wheelchair accessible. The lower grounds through the woods and over the stream are laid with a gravel path but it is quite steep. Our main event space The Cowyard Barn has different stepped floor levels but again each of these is accessible with ramps or level access. The smaller event space The Stables is not wheelchair accessible. We have a full disabled toilet.
