Emily Howard is an award winning singer-songwriter from Exeter. Featuring on the BBC Introducing radio show, receiving rave reviews as well as a nomination in the South West Music Awards for album of the year. Emily’s music could be compared to artists such as Ani Defranco, Joni Mitchell, Nina Nesbitt or Amy MacDonald. Her songs convey strong meanings and she sings them openly and honestly. Highlights for Emily include opening shows for fabulous folk artists Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, Hannah Martin and Philip Henry, Jim Causly and 3 Daft Monkeys. She also had the pleasure of taking to stages at port Eliot Festival, WOMAD, Devon Dub Fest, Over the Hill Festival, The Little Big Gig and Beautiful Days.

Newquay-based singer-songwriter Chard draws on poetry, mythology, Cornish legend and landscape to grapple with nostalgia and repurpose dated ideals of love, romance and masculinity to re-emerge more grateful, courageous and accepting than ever before. Chard’s music is an echoing blend of humbucking power, vulnerable vocals and poetic lyrics…A style that emerged while living in a van and studying popular music at Falmouth University and which continues to evolve in his new home on the north coast.
