There will be a fun-filled online Christmas lights switch-on community event to bring a little Christmas cheer into Falmouth homes this year.

With songs, video messages of support and well wishes from residents, schools, volunteer and church groups, competitions, cookery demonstrations and a community-led switch-on of Falmouth’s lights, the virtual evening certainly promises to be one to tune in to!

The Falmouth Virtual Community Christmas event will take place on Friday 18th December starting at 6pm and be broadcast live on Falmouth’s official Facebook page, @Falmouth Cornwall UK
Santa along with his helpers, will be in attendance!
There will be competitions with some great prizes to be won (further details to be announced)!
What’s more, you can get involved! Perhaps you have a friend, loved one or family member living or working away from Falmouth this Christmas? If so, maybe you’d like a Christmas message to be aired for them? Or perhaps you’d like played, a song your choir or music group have been rehearsing? If so, then do get in touch with the Town Team via [email protected] as soon as possible. The more original, colourful and musical community content, the better!
