About this event
Inspire your kids this half term with a visit to the Telegraph Museum Porthcurno, where curious minds can get to grips with big ideas and amazing histories.
Designed for all ages, our interactive museum showcases the science, the people and the stories that made developments in global communications possible, and demonstrates how advances in digital communications are changing the world forever.
On Saturday 15 February from 10.30am to 12pm, 7 to 12 year-olds can have fun making ‘Undersea Connections’ when they join our FREE ‘STEAM Explorers’ session, a morning of hands on making activities that explore the realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. STEAM sessions are held monthly during term time and provide children with an opportunity to explore scientific ideas, tackle problem-solving and learn the importance of teamwork. Our STEAM Explorer sessions are held in the Clore Learning Space opposite the museum car park. Museum entry not required. No booking required.
On Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20 February, from 11am to 3pm, kids of all ages can make their very own ‘Bug Hotel’ when they drop in to our ‘PK Pioneers’ family activities sessions in Eastern House, FREE with museum entry.
The main museum is open daily from Saturday 15 to Monday 24 February, 10.30am to 4pm. Onsite parking is FREE. Last admission one hour before closing.
