Join us for a day of lacto-fermentation, learning and lunch in the heart of Newlyn.
Newlyn Fermentary has collaborated with award-winning chef and food educator Tom Hunt to bring you an in depth day workshop on lacto-fermentation and how we can use this ancient tradition to eat seasonally and preserve food.
What’s Included
Introduction to the history and science behind lacto-fermentation.
Demos and recipe cards by Tom Hunt.
Newlyn Fermentary Kimchi Workshop where you will make your own kilo of kimchi to take away.
A fermented 5 mile lunch will be prepared on the day by Tom using locally sourced seasonal produce from in and around Newlyn.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Enjoy a mini Newlyn Fermentary hamper take away included in ticket.
