imPOSSIBLE PRESENTS: Yana Spencer – Journalist & Foodpreneur @ Falmouth International ARTS Festival: fia_fest

Ukrainian-born, Yana Spencer has been helping communities around the world through her various humanitarian projects. Yana set up Tamu Bakery – a social enterprise – making delicious cakes and using the funds generated to run baking therapy sessions with vulnerable women around the world who have been victims of gender-based violence. Yana was awarded a “Women of Peace” award by the International Peacepower Foundation in 2017.

Come and hear Yana speak about how baking helped her overcome her own personal challenges and how she wishes to pass her “love via cake, from country to country, from woman to woman”.
