About this event
This creative 4-day course, suitable for all levels, will teach you to firstly draw and then paint the figure from life.
Working from a model and using the historic sight- size method employed by Titian, Velazquez and Singer Sargent, you will be supported to create a full-length figure painting over the course of 4 days.
The course will introduce oil painting techniques and the limited palette of colours and then support students to carefully build up layers of paint, exploring various techniques for oil painting and discussing colour, tone, anatomy and light effect.
Suitable for all creative people at all levels and based in a lovely art studio on our Falmouth campus.
Costs: £595 per person including all materials
