About this event
Lost Boys of Carbis Bay is new documentary about a group of adventurers, who find peace through hours spent exploring abandoned mine workings. Filmed over two years, this deeply personal project explores far more than mine exploration. Its a story about the importance of community and the quiet battles of men’s mental health, and how a daring band of unlikely explorers, the Carbis Bay Crew, venture into Cornwall’s forgotten mines, unearthing not just history but a powerful journey of connection, resilience and self-discovery.
Rest Day features Saltash siblings Seren Wednesday Wills, 15 (GB Climbing Team) and Bodhi Wills, 12 (England Talent Squad), alongside Fin Kerswell, 17 (GB Climbing Team). This film is all about climbing outdoors for the sheer fun and freedom it brings, away from the pressures of the modern competition environment and follows these young aspiring pro climbers, as they take a day out from their intense indoor training regimes to climb at the iconic Anstey’s Cove in Torbay.
King Putt explores the world of professional mini-golf and introduces Marc ‘The Force’ Chapman as he strives for an unprecedented third consecutive World Crazy Golf Championship title.
Frankenbiking is a short documentary passion project about the joy of eccentric bikes and the fascinating people who build and ride them.
