Stranger Collective’s fireside happening Firelight is back for 2025.
Held at Trefusis Point on Thursday 5 June, the fireside series of talks is a chance to hear from fascinating speakers who’ll share their insights in a lo-fi, informal setting around flickering flames.
With author, journalist and activist Liv Little (founder of Gal Dem), novelist Jodie Matthews (Meet Me At the Surface, 4th Estate, 2024) and writers and filmmakers Demi Taylor and Chris Nelson (The Big Sea) all on the line-up, as well as a wild swim, woodland walk and food by Falmouth-based poké bowl magicians Nude Canteen to tuck into (not to mention marshmallows to toast) it’s set to be a stellar evening.
Catch the ferry across the water from Falmouth, take a dip in the river then wander up to the woods to gather fireside. The evening will be relaxed, informal, unplugged and eye-opening.
