It is our delight to return to regular rehearsals and concert opportunities after such a long, enforced break and Four Lanes Male Choir is proud to take part in this concert at St Ia’s Church during the St Ives September Festival.
Four Lanes Male Choir was formed in1944 to welcome local soldiers returning from the D-Day landings. From those early days it has established a reputation for fine singing and the ability to engender a sense of fun and enjoyment in every performance.
The choir has enjoyed competition and tours to many parts of the country including Wales and the North-West. It organises and performs in many local concerts throughout the year.
This includes open air events such as concerts at St.Ives, Porthleven, Redruth, Carol Singing at Four Lanes on Christmas Day and regular charity events.
