FREE Entry to Bodmin Keep, Cornwall’s Army Museum. There’s an action packed week of activities planned at Bodmin Keep for half term; WWII re-enactment, Drill demonstrations to weapons talks and handling and much, much more! 22 Feb, 11-3pm WWII Day –
Meet Re-enactment South West and explore their displays of fascinating objects from the Second World War at Bodmin Keep. The re-enactors will be in full dress as the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, Women’s Land Army & the US Infantry.

22 Feb, 1pm & 2pm Tour of Bodmin Keep –
Find out about the fascinating history of The Keep, one of Bodmin’s most important historic buildings, including how the site has been used as a WWII enlistment depot and a spy school!

17 – 21 Feb, 11am & 2pm Historic Weapons Talk & Handling Sessions –
Everyday during half term, learn about how weapons have changed through the ages, from the Enfield Rifle to the Browning Pistol.

Curators’ Curiosities, 19 February, 12pm
Explore some of our most unusual objects in the museum collection with our Curatorial Interns, Sarah Waite and Katie Sawyer.

23 Feb, Drill Demonstration & Talk by 32nd of Foot Re-enactors –
Join the 32nd (Cornwall) Regiment of Foot living history group for a talk exploring uniform and history. The 32nd of Foot will also deliver a fascinating Napoleonic Era marching and drill demonstration. Talk 1pm, drill 2pm
