Free family fun at one of the county's favourite heritage attractions including panning for gold.

Visitors to Cornwall Gold are able to discover Cornwall’s tin milling past, enjoying the free interactive Tolgus Mill exhibition and try their luck panning for gold.

The team have also created a new route through the historic Grade II Listed Tolgus Mill, enabling visitors to explore the last tin streaming mill in Europe. There are also free guided tours running which really help to bring the mill alive.

The onsite café, The Pantry has also refreshed its summer menu which is packed with delicious local produce and tempting family favourites. The addition of outside seating allows for dining al fresco whilst the kids play on the grass alongside the Tolgus stream.

The highlight of the summer so far has been the new Pick a Diamond activity, where visitors can try to uncover their own sparkling treasure. At just £5 per person, this fun and unique experience is proving incredibly popular with visitors of all ages with the chance to pick a real diamond worth up to £200!

Also on site is their Pick-a-Pearl activity plus pottery painting and the Bear Works plus plenty of Cornish keepsakes in their unique showroom.

With free parking, there’s no need to rush and with easy access to the Coast to Coast walking and cycling trails that lead to Portreath and Bissoe, Cornwall Gold is a great place to make a day of it. Plus, the dog-friendly facilities make it the perfect spot for the whole family.
