About this event
Meet old and new friends in a safe environment at the Village Hall in Harrowbarrow on Friday August 27th from 2 till 4pm. Boules, table tennis, croquet, picnic tables and children’s play area will be available outside.
Cream teas, Tombola, raffle, cakes, children’s games, books, jigsaws & plants will be indoors with musical accompaniment everywhere.
The new recreation area will be officially opened during the afternoon. It is an ideal opportunity for newcomers to Metherell and Harrowbarrow to meet more seasoned residents at an informal and friendly event. Everyone is welcome.
Covid precautions will still be followed for your peace of mind, so please bring a facemask, use the sanitizer provided and observe social distancing. Just because Wembley and Wimbledon have relaxed their rules it doesn’t mean we have to!
This, apart from a film screening, will be the first ‘event’ held at the hall since the hugely successful St. Piran’s Night party with the Inner Tube of the Rubber Band in March 2020, sixteen long months ago!
We all deserve some fun in our lives, so come along on the 27th August and PARTY!
