Falmouth & Penryn Fringe Book Festival 18-20 October

Talks & events 18-20 OCTOBER 2024

Join us in October for three afternoons and evenings of talks by local authors, workshops, themed quizzes, panel discussions, wine tastings and a constructive writing session with fellow writers

Our series of talks and events will introduce you to some amazingly talented Cornish authors and illustrators who in turn will introduce you to their amazing work, let you into their world of writing and spill the beans on their sources of inspiration!

Sponsored by St Austell Brewery, Hermitage Press and Terrace Gallery, the Festival takes place on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th of October in the private rooms upstairs in The Chain Locker Pub, Customs House Quay, Falmouth. Our festival doors open for registration from 11:30 each day and refreshments are available throughout the day.

Wednesday 16th – Bookish quiz
Compiled by the infamous Chain Locker Quiz Master, all the proceeds go towards running the Fringe Book Festival. Kicks off at 7:00pm, £1 per person entry.

Friday 18th – Inspired by Cornwall
