Following their highly successful appearances in the South West The Dave Hankin Big Band is returning to Sterts with their new show From Glenn Miller to Count Basie & Beyond.

The performance includes music by the likes of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Nelson Riddle, Buddy Rich and many more great artists. With a few surprises thrown in the band’s shows have been described in the press as ‘jaw-droppingly good’ and ‘exceptional, they could not be bettered.’

This band of highly polished musicians has risen to become the Southwest’s premier big band featuring quality musicianship and performing a diverse repertoire from Glenn Miller to Maynard Ferguson “& BEYOND”.

Dave Hankin’s expertly crafted arrangements have been broadcast on radio, television and performed by the BBC Big Band.
