About this event
The Make Do and Mend attitude gradually applied to everything including furniture on the Home Front during the Second World War. This way of thinking helped prevent wastage, encouraged thriftiness and increased appreciation of the value of belongings. Join Sandy from Feral Furniture Designs for a demonstration of techniques that can be used to upcycle furniture. Learn some basics, proper preparation, go to products, how to source the perfect piece, tools and tricks.
This event is free of charge. Drop-in and join in sessions throughout the afternoon.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.
