About this event

A wonderful taster into the beautiful world of fused glass

Please note this event is now sold out.

This evening workshop is a wonderful taster into the beautiful world of fused glass. Run by Lisa Macfarlane of Art of Glass who has years of experience of glass craftsmanship you will learn:

How to cut glass
How to arrange it
Different fused glass techniques
The glass firing process

By the end of the class you will have created a stunning glass panel ready for firing. Lisa will be able to fire the piece for you in own kiln off site and it will be ready for collection two weeks after the workshop (alternatively, we will be able to post it to you for a small fee).

The evening session also includes tea, coffee and delicious cake from our deli.

Level: The course is suitable for beginners, unsuitable for small children, but over 12s are fine.
Run by: Lisa MacFarlane
Make: Fused glass panel – with the option to frame it at an extra cost (£10 for the frames).
Price: £45 including all materials and refreshments.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, closed shoes (no flip flops or sandals). You can come with your own design in mind or just be inspired on the day.
