About this event
Its the big G7 global summit in St Ives the weekend of 12th June. All the head honchos sitting round a table, blowing hot air and worrying about post covid economies, while the planet is screaming STOP!.. The weather is more likely to be finer too for a warmer SUP round the mount! So thought it might be a great time to raise awareness for global environmental issues and make a statement, even if it’s amongst ourselves and passers by.
Enjoy some good vibes on the water and finish off the day with a social (but covid sensible) sunset BBQ. Costumes and paddle protests completely optional.
Meet at council carpark in Marazion (will cost few pounds after 17th may) flexible start time. We’ll end up in the same place 😁. Jump in when you can.
BYO SUP equipment, warm blankets, food and BBQs. Great way to keep fit, meet new folks and enjoy the beautiful views.
Happy to share equipment and have few spare wetsuits if needed. A quick paddle round the Mount and back usually takes around 45 mins to an hour at leisure pace from the car park, so can lend my SUP, as they’ll be enough daylight for few tours.
Linked to new FB page Kernow Boarders.. in an effort to promote post lockdown healthy outdoors exercise and well being 💪🤟🌞
