About this event
Poppets are a Celtic magic tool used to cast spells.
In 2021 Beach Guardian made an army of poppets from Ghost Gear (lost or discarded fishing gear) to haunt the G7 summit. These guardians had objects found on the beaches bound inside them, their mission was to tackle the plastic pollution in our oceans.
This is a slightly more involved workshop aimed at ages 10 and above and is most definitely suitable for adults.
We will provide all materials to make the Poppets and will host at our mission centre in Trevone.
Just in time to bring them to life on Halloween…

Details
Parking is at: The Church, Bay Rd, Trevone, Padstow PL28 8QZ. Andrew will meet you there and walk everyone up to the Mission Centre just a couple minutes away. At this time accessibility is difficult as we are in a recently restored older building, but we are hoping to make these changes moving forwards. Please don't hesitate to ask any further questions. Toilets are also at the Church.
