Glasney College's importance in Cornish literature

Nearly all medieval Cornish literature is associated, in one way or another, with Glasney College outside Penryn, although it was not necessarily written there.

Join Dr Oliver Padel for this talk examining the nature of the college, why it was important, and how the plays in our Out of the Ordinary exhibition came to be written. The individual manuscripts now in the exhibition illustrate in different ways the literary activity encouraged by the College, enabling us to think more broadly about its contribution to medieval Cornish culture.
