About this event
You will be able to make a 15 x 5cm fused glass suncatcher to your own design or choose a template.
Take a base piece of clear specialist fusing glass and then build your design using small pieces of glass already cut into shapes or you can make your own shapes (you will be shown how to safely score and break glass safely if you choose to do this). There will also be ready made ‘pebbles’, ‘stringers’ and ‘frit’ available to add to your creation.
Once you are happy with your design, it will be transferred to the kiln and then fired overnight (22 hours at a maximum temperature of 745c).
Your suncatcher will be ready for collection a few days later (or it can be posted to you for a small charge).
These sessions are suitable for all – adults and children over 6 years (children must have full adult supervision)
Cost inclusive of all materials and any tuition required.
The session will be approximately one hour but is dependent on each individual and may be shorter or longer, but is set to a maximum of 90 minutes.

Details
Unfortunately, access is limited into the studio. There are 3 steps to access and there is limited space inside - it is a working art studio. There is parking on site available for those with limited mobility only - please call ahead for full information (07747 602820). Otherwise, pedestrian access to the studio is up a flight of (36) steps from road level or up an unadopted lane.
