The Groove Diggers are a large live band based across Cornwall – a groove collective with full horn section, rhythm section and vocalists playing funk, soul, jazz and the songs you didn’t expect to love.
On Friday 12th June we’re bringing the groove to The Pizza Cabina in Threemilestone for one night only. Doors open at 7:30pm and the band kicks off from 8pm. Tickets are £10 and all profits on the night go to Man Down, the Cornwall-based community interest company dedicated to supporting men’s mental health and reducing male suicide.
This is a cause very close to our hearts, and we’re hoping to raise over £1,000 on the night. Come for the music, stay for the groove, and help us make a real difference.
The Groove Diggers play funk, soul, jazz-funk and unexpected covers – the kind of songs nobody expects but everybody feels. Think Tower of Power, Incognito, Snarky Puppy, Stevie Wonder and James Brown, filtered through a love of deep groove and live musicianship.
