As winter draws in, you are invited to join us for a cosy evening of entertainment hosted by Botallack Count House. Discover Cornish music, stories and poetry.
Come to the folk night hosted by the Count House Cafe, where you are welcome to join in or enjoy an evening of seasonal music and poetry. Attend a talk about Cornish miner and composer John Glasson or come to a performance of traditional Cornish music old and new.
Friday, January 12 – The Life of Cornish Miner and Composer Joseph Glasson. A talk given by
Dr Kate Neale. Booking is required to guarantee a seat.
Friday, January 19 – Gwav yn Kernow/Winter in Cornwall, David and Dee Brutherton. An evening of seasonal music and poetry. Booking is required to guarantee a seat.
Friday, January 26 – Folk Night hosted by the Count House Cafe. 7pm-10pm, doors open at 6.30pm. Bring an instrument or your voice or come to listen and enjoy.
Friday, February 2 – Jackson’s Claret. Performance of traditional Cornish music, old and new. Doors open at 7.30 pm.
