Mindful Ways to Paint Workshop, for children aged 7 to13

This kids workshop, adapted from our adult course, encourages children to take a break from their daily routines and explore mindful painting techniques.

Enjoy slowing down with artist Kitty Hillier. See how focusing on your breath and being ‘in the moment’ can help you to make art more intuitively and free you up.

Visit Porthmeor Beach to sketch and collect natural and man-made objects, to inspire your paintings back in the studio.

Following processes led by Kitty, experiment with colour, texture and low relief to make a set of mindfully made images.

For children aged 7-13, these workshops are like no other, where children get to work in our studio overlooking the sea and use the same high art quality materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and leave feeling inspired with beautiful work.
