An unstructured class where learners have the space to work on their own personal projects.

This course will: improve your hand-building skills and techniques
Level: beginner & intermediate.

Cost: £200

Offered in 8 week blocks, this evening class is an opportunity for beginners and improvers to attend an unstructured class where learners have the space to work on their own personal projects alongside an experienced practitioner.

Overview

The course will start with a brief introduction to the Studio, equipment and tools, the clay and how to prepare it, and when best to use the three basic hand-building techniques: pinch, slab and coil. The sessions will be left open for the students to work on their own personal projects.

There may be some height restrictions to the size of work that can be made and fired.

*Due to popular demand, the length of each session has now increased to 2.5 hours.
