About this event

A fantastic introduction to working with clay using different ways of hand-building.

When: Tuesdays throughout the year (see below)

Duration: 2 hours (10:30am – 12:30pm)

This course will: improve your hand-building skills and techniques
You will leave with: a finished piece, which you can collect from us or have posted* to you
Level: beginner.

Cost: £20 per person per session

These themed taster sessions give you a fantastic introduction to working with clay using different ways of hand-building. Each session has its own unique theme, so you can join one or all of the sessions and explore at your own pace.

Overview

Each session, taught by an experienced member of our Learning & Participation Team, begins with a series of demonstrations alongside the examination of finished pieces to help you realise the many creative paths that you can explore. You will work with clay and tools to make one piece per session in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
