About this event
One off class introducing you to hand building techniques. I will demonstrate a few techniques – pinch pots, slab building, coiling, texturing and then will oversee you making your own creations. It will be fun but informative, relaxing and likely quite messy. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on.
Suitable for absolute beginners or those with experience. Enjoyable with a friend, in a group or solo… maximum group per session will be 5 people.
We will be adding texture to your creations with tools, stamps and lettering. All materials and aprons are provided. Expect to make at least one or two pots. The cost includes firing and glazing which I will do for you once the pots are dry enough to go into the kiln. Choice of 3 glazes – blue, white or black. Cuppa, biscuits and merriment provided.
Your pots will be ready to collect within 4 weeks or can be posted for an additional cost.
