Course on History of Cornish Gardens & Houses Part 1. Falmouth Class.

In this 8 week course we look at the History of Gardens in Cornwall including the families who created them and their houses as well as their art collections.

There are many different types of garden in Cornwall this course offers a cross section including: the ancient walled garden of Godolphin House; The Humphrey Repton inspired vistas of Antony; the woodland trees and shrubs of Caerhays; and the valley gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan.

The course ends with two guided tours of gardens covered on the courses including Enys and Glendurgan.
