About this event
Moving from Kent to West Cornwall has been inspirational. The stunning Cornish coastline is an energising evocative ever moving feast of colour, texture and movement – a total temptation for an artist! I use a variety of surfaces and particularly like Aluminium – it is very reflective and gives depth to my work. I work mainly in Oils and Acrylics, but also love to use Oil Pastels and other mixed media. I like to feel that my work has energy and spirit – that you the viewer can feel what is happening, it is painterly and not always figurative or abstract. My paintings are all different sizes and most of them have already been framed and are ready to hang. I have a number of paintings from my days in Whitstable, where I had a Beach Hut – I painted for an exhibition which was cancelled due to COVID.
Please do visit my Studio and feel free to speak to me about my work, what I paint and how I paint! All visitors are welcome. Please ask me for my Website address which is currently in construction.
